Director Barathiraja was famous for his village based family movies, but he is not directing any movies for the past few years. Recently his daughter Janani Aishwarya was married to Rajkumar Thambiraja, son of an industrialist, in Malaysia on September 1st 2008. The marriage was very grand and he spent a lot of money for this marriage.
